Happy Birthday Nathaniel!

I cannot believe my son is 7 years old today! My how time flies. It still feels like yesterday he was my baby. I am going to find his birthstory to read to him tonight!

How he has grown up - wow! He gets smarter and smarter every day. He is now reading Magic Tree House books all on his own and is devouring them!!

We aren't going to have a big party this year - for friends or family. I think we will just do a little something when we meet for Kate's Confirmation since we will all be together in Peoria. He really doesn't want a big party this year. He wants 2-3 friends over to play and then maybe a movie. He is my non-party boy! (unlike Connor who comes up with reasons to have a party all the time!)

Today we are going to go to school and surprise him with McD's for lunch. At school if you come to eat with them they get to sit at the head table with a friend and you. They also get to head out to reccess first - they think this is SOOOOO cool! I also am going to bring in a BIG cookie from the mall - he picked it out - it has a 4x4 truck on it - very cool! He will get to share with his class this afternoon.

Darren went to Pennsylvania Sunday to purchase a 3/4 million dollar ladder truck for Mahomet so he won't be here tonight - we are going to do something on Wednesday instead. Tonight is busy anyway as we have volleyball and cubscouts family Pack meeting!

He got one of those plug and play games last night with G&G McCoy's birthday money - so he enjoyed playing that so far. After watching the Dent's he thought he might like one!

Well - better get some some more work done before we have to leave.
